Iru Observer as an e-newspaper is published on the internet so that it would foster and portray fair journalism in all its sense.

While reporting news and disseminating information, we will not be biased. It is not our policy to portray biased opinions of any one individual. It is a special privilege as the Chairman of Iru Observer to address our views on this to our readers.

Our policy is to advocate for balanced, rational and fair journalism, and that this paper will always uphold these noble beliefs. As I believe, professional journalism or dissemination of information has to be undertaken in a fair and just basis. Why it has to be dealt in a just basis is that one can caricature journalism or dissemination of information as a powerful weapon like a double edged sword.

While resorting to utilise journalism, it is possible to demeanour a person’s character, allege abuse, misnomer ones reputation, spread unjust lies and level unfair allegations to tarnish the image of an individual. It is because of this our noble intention is to keep this service free from such taints.

It is the policy of the management to adhere and maintain this cherished principle, and it is my sincere wish that other newspapers and such sites be partners to this exemplary principle. I wish to point out to our readers, while thanking the patronage shown by them, everyone endeavour will be made to uphold and sustain their confidence to the site.
