President commissioned internet site of Maldivian high commission in Singapore

In the dignitaries’ book, the President wrote that it was a great pleasure for him to be given the opportunity to visit the High Commission and that he begin in the name of Allah, the Kind, the Merciful, to launch its Official Website. 

He also highlighted in his entry the high priority the Government attached to fostering and widening friendly diplomatic relations with the International Community of Nations.

The President noted with appreciation the current efforts of Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon Mr. Abdulla Shahid, in this connection. He also mentioned that the High Commissioner designated to Singapore, Mr. Hassan Sobir had served the Government for many years and in a number of high-ranking posts.
